Before you launch into decorating your sacred space, it’s important to take some time to consider your expectations and boundaries that you may need to set.
Be clear about your expectations and why they matters to you. You chose this course for a reason. It sparked something within you.
Let’s take some time to consider what that is.
Here are some self inquiry journal prompts to get you started.
How might your life benefit from creating a sacred space in your home?
What might that look like with the space you have to work with?
What is the value in showing up for yourself and filling your cup first thing in the day?
How might your day shift through this simple practice?
What are some current obstacles in your life right now that prevents you from showing up for yourself first thing?
Look at your list and envision some creative solutions. Write them down.
Boundaries
Take a moment to consider the responses to your questions above.
I realize that this might be dependent on the age of your children and other responsibilities that you may have.
This isn’t mean to add to your plate or add undue stress to your life but support you.
Use the prompts below to consider what boundaries might be needed for you to have some time and space for yourself.
What are some boundaries concerning your space and your time that you might need to implement?
How can I share the importance of this time with the householders in my life?
Let other householders know your plan and explain the benefits to them. Remind them that this is your time, to set yourself up for the day.
Work with what you have and allow it to be flexible and shift.
